• Being honest in our solicitation materials and truthful, clearly communicating with donors about how their gifts will be or have been used;

• Being transparent about who is accountable for SRGM’s expenditures; with adopted expense policies and procedures such as travel expense reimbursements, prior approval and limiting of expenditures to what is reasonable and necessary;

• Posting annual reports and other information on our website;

• Adhering to our conflict of interest policy which all board and staff members are aware of and review regularly;

• Adhering to our executive compensation policy to ensure that the full board of directors is aware of and approves the compensation of the CEO;

• Accessibility to financial information, including a copy of our application for tax-exemption, IRS Form 990, audited financial statements and annual reports;

• Adhering to established internal controls to ensure accountability;

• Responding appropriately to request for copies of financial reports as required by the IRS.
